I disagree about that, most profesionals wont take a saw home to sharpen on a bench, or want to do it at the yard after a long day. It will be done in a wet muddy field/garden/site when they need it, and if your lucky there will be somewhere not too muddy to sit, a bonus if its dry!
Anyway I never used the Oregon one but I suggest its worth giving it another shot. Feed the wheel very lightly and intermittently to let it take just a little bit at a time as that seems to give best results for mine.
I found if I feed mine hard, it twists and changes the angle and in effect, leaves the tip blunt.
