About welding rods sizes you'll need, unless you're working with very thick metal 2.5mm 7018 is everything you need .Thanks!
Welder is a Sherman 206 tig, upto 200a.
Do I need 2.5mm for tube and
3 or 4mm for thicker plate?
Bag them up with some sieves and they should stay dry a very long time.

I use it for the 3 up to 10mm range.
I use 3.2 only for the 6 to 20mm range
Bigger rods will increase speed on big thicknesses ,but it will require more power to run them 180A for 4mm 7018 .
My welder can handle that no problems because it has 100% duty cycle up to 194A , yours will be probably closer to its limits
