Still not right but I think what you have in picture is 0.1uF 250v

if it is just suppressing spikes on a power rail then it would do, if it is tuning/filtering something then it won't

rs components would also deliver next day, I find the small parcel handling/postage makes small packages less reasonable at farnell even though their component prices may be cheaper, at least it did for what I was looking at

The cap in the original picture is 100nF (100 x 1000 pF), 250V, whilst the parts list cap is 10nF. You could string 10 off 100nF caps in series to get 10nF ;-)
