components would also deliver next day, I find the small parcel handling/postage makes small packages less reasonable at farnell even though their component prices may be cheaper, at least it did for what I was looking at

They're both being rather temperamental at the moment. The most consistent at the moment is DigiKey rather ironically shipping from the US.

We've been finding if the Farnell stock is in Europe then who it can be up to a week for it to arrive. RS was better but they've changed couriers to UPS I think it was recently and its not been as reliable as Parcel Force were.

This is for a trade account, still quick delivery but not as consistent as it was.
