I tried to include an excerpt from the manual, but it did not work, not sure if you have a copy? on page 23 it shows how you can change the pulse times on the PCB. Alternatively with the addition of a remote control RTP 1 or RTP 2, you can have full control of this. If you want to send me your email address i can forward the manual electronically, or if you are interested in the remote control let me know. This is an early model with Puls and it is very basic, but can be altered if required.

For the very little use it'll get a remote isn't really cost effective for me. Good to know that the machine is still supported though

I'd certainly not dismiss the remote D. Worth getting a quote I think if it allows full control over the pulse without messing with boards. It's a handy thing to have a fast pulse on thin gage long runs to help with distortion and you'll find you may use more often. Should you sell the machine this will increase its value somewhat if it's capable of a good pulse range through a remote.
