these were probably done by same guy once he'd got hold of a MIG welder.....
Thanks, I've just sprayed my keyboard with coffee.

No he actually went into the clam pole business. They will only be supporting a few tonnes of swinging steel dredges on a stormy day with a couple of crew men standing below them as they guide the dredges aboard.I think that guy quit and took a job welding steel roof beams
Don't forget to get the turbocharger upgrade while you're buying;

One particularly sobering thing happened just a minute before I got there - a farmer's trailer had snapped the towing hook off and had carried on straight across the bend on a small two-lane backroad I used regularly.hate to say it, but see similar on a fairly regular basis, usually on farmers trailers, machinery, kit etc....only held together by the grace of god....
I reckon a darker colour like black would have been a better choice....yellow just highlights all the imperfections
I can understand starting off a bit rubbish if you are new to it....but with that much weld I think I would have eventually got the hang of it!
Looks like he did some chassis repairs too! Popped up on FB this afternoon.View attachment 192402
As I say, if I'd been a minute earlier, that would have clobbered me good and proper.
That's what a cut and shut job is ! Shocking !Looks like he did some chassis repairs too! Popped up on FB this afternoon.View attachment 192402

have you ever looked at some of the fairground rides ,or an old calmac ferry
Probably was a "professional"......I remember a few years ago the Italian government, and some others too were considering making working on your car/truck/bike/whatever illegal. You would have had to bring it to certified professionals. When you see pure muck like that in the pictures, you can understand why.
I had to do some repair work to a standby boat that had just been fitted out at Rosyth (I think), it sailed from there, got half way to the rig and had to make for Montrose as a few sections had flooded. I have never seen welding as bad as some of the welds on that. Well I have but not from supposedly professional welders. Some welds were very nice and some were just pathetic. How it passed inspection I will never know.have you ever looked at some of the fairground rides ,or an old calmac ferry
