Favorite Ratchets?

No 1 is my stubby ratchet.

no 2 A swivel.

no 3 A black handled one.

The cheap koken has become my 1/4 ratchet of choice.

I would seriously consider the snap-on version just for the longer handle

all my good stuff got nicked inc a very collectable Snap On military rollaway....
came of El-Toro marine base, S Calif......
Just make do with Jap stuff now but quite happy with them....
oh, and a big set of 1/2 drive sockets from Cromwell....metric, AF and Whit.....

My favourite is a 1/2" Quest, Very well made and neat head, It/s a ratchet -less , ratchet. Really tiny movements and never slips. Brilliant piece of kit, but I cant find anything else made by Quest,

bought 2 brittool swivel ratchets a 1/4 inch and a 3/8th drive one for 8 quid each and a standard 3./8 drive one along with the half inch . have about another 5 kicking around as well various makes

My 1/2” Kansas has had 3’ of pipe on it, it’s had a hard life and is now a mere 40 years old.

cheap crap certainly wouldn’t recommend …… oh God, Yet ANOTHER half inch on the nose.

Two come to mind, a gearless 1/4" and one designed for 1/4" hex bits. Can't remember the manufacturers off hand.

I got a Stahlwille 1/4" drive when my old Kamasa one went wonky and it's been fine, Facom replaced the 3/8" drive. My Bahco set has 1/4 and 1/2 drive fine ratchets and they are good
