Yes, they break very easily, (easy to weld up though, well easy if you can tig weld that is)

Belts are expensive. Bearings in the end roller dont last 5mins. And they are air hungry

Other than, that. very good

got the evo one couple of years age,done its job,hard to get spares for,(roller bearings)so ordered a makita one ,get it today,as for belts,i just buy sanding belts and cut them to size,works out 20p a belt,or cheaper lol
still got the evo one till i get the end bearing runner,

I find myself in the need of a finger file. I've only ever used pneumatic ones can anyone recommend a good brand. Had a look in Cromwell's but they want £200 for a Kobe? I know nothing about air tools so no idea if that is a good brand.

I've seen a 240V Makita for about £150 would that be a better option?

Can't fault it. Chap I bought it from was errecting steel framed buildings

This one saved me a huge amount of work yesterday (and was quite a bit cheaper than £150 as you can see in the picture):

I didn't actually pay that for it (my father-in-law bought it for that price at a car boot sale). I inherited it thinking "what a load of rubbish, I'll never use it", but it's been invaluable on several occasions now, so it was well worth my father-in-law's three pounds!

I've got a 10mm Bluepoint/Snap On one and a 20mm Chicago Pnuematic both nice units.

Another vote for BND abrasives for belts.

I got a B&D one around 1991 when I cleared a workshop. It sat unused until 2011. What a wonderful tool. All those wasted years when I could have put it to good use

I have the B&D one as well on offer from Cromwell a few years ago good enough for my use. Best thing I have found is to keep the belts in the airing cupboard they seem to last much longer.

I've had one of the generic Chinese ones for a few years now and can't fault it. I buy the blue belts off Ebay. If you catch the belts wrong on a sharp edge they can instantly disintegrate.

M12 cut off tool and a cheap Chinese air finger sander.

I use it a lot. It’s good for material removal. Especially with a course belt

I had no idea what a Milwaukee "M12 cutoff tool" was, until I Googled it. I can now see that it is a copy of the Parkside 12v grinder ( or vice-versa ).

I think it is for builders and kitchen fitters. The pictures are all of it cutting tiles and whatnot. Less aggressive than an angry grinder I suppose.
