Looking very nice. I always thought MK2 Escorts looked good in midnight blue my 1600 Sport was a pale powder blue, but then I was never too keen on the RS2000's nose much preferring the flat front Escorts.

Mate, that is some seriously impressive work, you have a real talent!
One thing i`m jealous of with you guys is the availability of repair panels, we have a very limited range available down here and they cost an arm and a leg for even the most common ones. I`m followint you on FB as well and have nothing but admiration for the standard of your work

You have skills! an amazing job. My Mk1 fiesta resto fell by the wayside when my son was born. hated seeing it sitting there unfinished so I sold it. hopefully in a few years ill be able to start another.

Just like to say a big thank you to all of you who have liked my facebook page so far https://www.facebook.com/www.Autoresto.co.uk . As you may or may not know I am starting up my own vehicle restoration company this year and I really appreciate the support from this forum and its members. I've had a few enquiries to date so I'm looking forward to putting some more old classics back on the road.

The RS has had some delays in the body shop but I have been told this morning she will be ready for collection the early part of next week. I will get some more pictures up soon.

I have also been busy reproducing some hard to find replacement parts which may help someone who is restoring a MK2 Escort. These are now available on ebay.

yes i know the owner of the car will be taking the car to shows this year and i will let people know when and where. We hope to get it into the ford mags also.
