What inspired you to sling a V8 Lexus, in a Focus ?
Did you ever have any doubts on it fitting in.
I do admire your skills and resourcefulness.
I would have erred on turning a spacer, as opposed to repurposing exhaust pipe.

Just wanted a V8, liked the focus lol.
No doubts, anything will fit in anything with enough time and money spent. I just set some unreasonable limitations for myself which made it more difficult, such as maintaining ABS
If the first shaft hasn’t gone as peachy as it did and gave me as much trouble as the second one I would have turned a spacer, despite how difficult it would be to turn a spacer 1.5 mm thick.
I even considered stripping the shafts down and making sure the lip was perfectly true so I could custom make a spacer but that takes time & effort.
Searching through my box of scrap, exhaust pipe fit the bill almost perfectly apart from the pipe not coming in 75mm size

I know you're busy, and if I keep asking you questions you 'll not be getting on with editing the next one but, can I ask about the clustch problem? It's strange that it should stop working just like that or had it been getting progressivley worse?
Oh, and you did top up the diff oil didn't you?

next one is already done and on YouTube anyway just not released yetThe clutch went because it’s been apart, brake lines have air in them etc. once it’s bled properly it’s ok, the change in cylinder and rod length just made it a little more palletable. Since then I’ve had the pressure bleeder on both brakes and clutch and the clutch at least has gone miles better so hopefully as long as the system stays sealed it should be ok

Watched this one as well, love what you're doing
Just a small observation, I believe (happy to be proved wrong) that as the clutch wears the piston is pushed back further into the slave cylinder, hopefully the rod isn't too long that it runs out of travel as the clutch gets used
Yes I noticed as I was editing I got it the wrong way around.
If it does, I can always put the shorter rod back in
They literally pop in and out - quite satisfying actually
