Good riddance. I had a mk3 xr2i as my first car. Got rid of it after 6 months if not sooner. After spending a fortune on it. Worst cars ever with their off center steering.
So all Fiestas are rubbish because you once had a shonky old MK3?

for something that size/type, i'd sooner have anything by fiat, pugrot, VW, well... anything. the fiesta would be bottom of the list.
Don’t think there will be one. saloon cars are out and generic blob like SUVS/crossovers are inDidn't know about the Mondeo, Any idea of its replacement?
Thank you, was beginning to bug me.Fix or repair daily.
We love our 2016 Fiesta.
Apart from the low profile tyres which it eats and makes the ride rough and handling interesting on anything other than a super smooth, dry, white lineless road!!
The engine (yes I know it will go bang before it gets to 60K) is a great little thing. You'd never know it was a 999cc 3pot. I swear that small ICE engines are the future rather than electric.
We don't need/want an SUV so who knows what we will swap to when the time comes.
My Fiesta is a 1500 Diesel, cheap road tax, pre addblue and 54mpg . Has now done over 100,000 miles with only a new clutch enginewise. What mpg do you get out of the "grenade"?The engine (yes I know it will go bang before it gets to 60K) is a great little thing. You'd never know it was a 999cc 3pot. They've also discontinued the Smax, BIL isn't to happy about it. He's been driving them for 15+ years & is due to change again. The 'replacement' is a stretched Kuga, he took a look at one & it has nowhere near the load space of the smax!
Found On Road DeadWhat does f.o.r.d. stand for again?
I've forgotten.....
One of my old bosses bought a Lotus, ….. Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious, we gave him some stick, especially when he broke a cam belt & wrecked the engine! Next boss bought a Fiat …. Fix It Again Tomorrow, we took the mick out of him as well. That was trouble free though.Found On Road Dead
