Garage Floor Paint

Gotta say. I used the whickes garage floor paint and am realy pleased with the results. Car is not taxed so i couldnt leave it on the street while the paint dryed plus i had a whole load of crap stored in the garage. Soo i put the car up on axle stands and filled the car with the crap ( you would be amazes how much stuff will fit in a Suzuki Swift) including on the roof and bonet.

Swept up really well and proceded to paint arount the xle stands.

Like i say i would recomend the stuff. Mines in a really nice light grey colour.

Got to be an epoxy floor paint

I'm with 'Jugs' on this one. I painted my floor with what I've know come to know is a 'single part' floor paint and it lifted in weeks. You need a two part epoxy one. Jugs said about wtaco supplying it and there's many others out there I saw when looking at prices... paint master and I think the dulux stores stock it. Either way, if you don't have to mix two different bits together then don't use it where you're parking your car.

I've got photos of when I painted mine with a B&Q floor paint if anyone wants to see. There's no peeling anywhere except for the tyres so it can't have been anything to do with the prep like international said when i emailed them.

I used a resin based single component floor paint and it is good solid stuff. It came in a plain tin so I don't know the make but it is industrial rated, I have scratched through it dragging metal across and it doesn't lift where the surface is broken. It makes dropped items easier to find and oil spills easier to mop up.
