Adding my experience, not a garden shed but a garage / workshop. Did a self build bungalow and had ground to build a really decent sized garage trouble being a fairly standard double garage built in traditional block could have cost £20000. Did a fair bit of research and decided upon a welded galvanised steel framed, steel clad building. Its 12m x 8m, 3.3m eaves and 4.4m ridge. It has a 3x3m roller door, pedestrian access door, no windows but 4 roof lights. It has an anti condensation membrane on the roof sheeting to reduce dripping in cold weather. It is not insulated so is cold in winter, and warm in summer but beats working on a car on a driveway. It has a 6" concrete base on plastic membrane to prevent rising damp. £ for £ it's by far the best way for me to realise my ambition of a decent garage workshop. Have a toilet and sink in one corner, kids have bagged another corner for a pool table. Just waiting to get the last of the builders crap out of it and I can start to get it set up the way I want it. Base cost around £2k, garage delivered and erected was £10500. Really pleased with it.
Plan is to install a 2 post ramp eventually.

Hope the complex roof truss design doesnt interfere with the car roof when you fit a lift.

Bolted down with L shaped brackets on the stanchions by rawl bolts. The cross braced trusses do limit height, plan to centre the ramps between them to maximise height available.

Finally got the attic in the house floored and the crap out of the garage, set up now as I want it just need to save the pennies for the lift now.

Do you have heavy snow falls where you are, the roof needs to be strong enough for the weight?

Not especially, why? Built with engineers report and building control approval.

Must admit I thought the structure looked light, but the fink truss design is extremly strong, for its weight hence why there used on modern houses too.

The trusses themselves look fairly strong, but I suspect slim_boy_fat may have been wondering whether there was any rigid connection between truss and stanchion. It looks as though one of the trusses is not connected to any stanchion at all, a design feature that I have never previously met.

You had me wondering there! Not fully built frame in that image, now has an upright (stanchion?) attached to ends of all trusses.

I thought you could do it but it depends on the size whether or not you need planning permission or building regs

I've not been on in a while so didn't now this thread is still active. Just a quick update on my shed. The damp issue in the floor is mainly resolved after blowing out the joints and filling with sand cement mix and then sealing under the panels with Tek7.
I did notice a couple of small damp spots in the joints around the inside walls during the winter but no water pooling and no condensation on inside walls or roof. Think the main issue was the gutters weren't up at the time as there is a very solid base below the slabs with plenty of stone for drainage. Not seen any damp in around the centre slabs either so all good.
