You might struggle shox. That list of things has been the down fall of most lids for as long as I can remember. Particularly point 1. I've never found one that stays tight enough to hold itself up yet lose enough to drop down with a flick.
They need fitting with bonnet catches.
I like mine to drop with a nod but stay when it's up which is no easy task. I don't like them tightened up either as I tend to pull it off my head when pushing it down. It's something that can be easily achieved I'm sure. How about a push button release?
Clutch washers/plates. Yes that's nice idea.Or a clutch detent. There's plenty of ways, none of which helmet manufacturers care to use, nor care about.
