I found that yesterday which is why I asked why it looked different to the one Richard liked. I had not noticed the H
I then looked on ebay using the code posted by the lad who got one today and became even more confused. .

Doesn't show on anywhere in the UK because it's not CE marked lads, meaning no one can sell it here legally 
The WH70 balder is listed as a variation of the true sight WH70 except with some minor changes mostly for the good (including increased colour match through the viewing screen)

Missing some nice features and things off the w70 though.
No AAA batteries to change (really loved that feature)
doesn't have as bigger viewing area either like the w70 truesight.
I'm gonna try the wh70 out and pass my honest thoughts on.
I'm pleased you like it cocker. I must admit the wh70 looks smart and much more appealing to look at than the w70.

You might struggle shox. That list of things has been the down fall of most lids for as long as I can remember. Particularly point 1. I've never found one that stays tight enough to hold itself up yet lose enough to drop down with a flick.
They need fitting with bonnet catches.
I think we are mostly at fault with not spending enough time adjusting and re adjusting the twiddly bits
One thing I have found a real benefit has been the sweat bands from UK welder loose on then tighten and the lid don't slip and slide as you nod
That said with automatic darkening I do try and keep the lid down unless measuring etc

I like mine to drop with a nod but stay when it's up which is no easy task. I don't like them tightened up either as I tend to pull it off my head when pushing it down. It's something that can be easily achieved I'm sure. How about a push button release?

Seems to be a very missed out area that proves welders don't have much input on lid designs.

Had a Jackson helmet, probably from my local supplier can't remember now, but the filter died after less than a year.
I'm getting that new speed glass 9100xxi this week from Rapid. £300. Blue filter, shade 2.5 when not darkened.
I'd be interested in the optrel top of the range but never seen or tried one, I've heard they're as good as a speedglas but lighter.
Getting the speedglas though because I'm also going to invest in an Adflo unit down the line.

Thread update ive made my mind up. It's pretty clear that if I want one of those jackson truesights it's coming from the states which is how my mate bought his and I would be willing to do that but spares and lenses are also the same so it's really not practical. I've been pondering between 2.
Jackson WH70 and the Viking 3350. I've decided to go with the Viking because the Jackson is very similar to my new tech baring better head gear but it's still external controls which I'm gonna step away from. So it'll be a new 3350 coming soon and if a W70 pops up in the UK cheap I'll buy it anyway lol.

Not had a chance to wear my new Viking this week yet as been doing pipework on the hoist as you will see from my social club posts but I will be sure to update you guys as soon as I flash the welder up. Still some bits and pieces to weld on the hoist anyway
