I think you are right, I did look at those before the stores shut down and regret not buying one. The Halfords advanced boxes are not as well made as the Clarke HD range from Machine Mart, the big contractors top is a beast.

Just before xmas I bought a halfords side cab,and its ok but not fanttastic.I also have snap on and teng boxes which are far better.The halfords drawers don't slide as well and are quite tight to get in past the anti roll detent, my others need a slight push these need a hard shove, might ease up with use.Mind you it was only £75 with black friday deal and tradecard so is good value.

Paul, have a look at the Sealey superline pro and Premier industrial stuff... not the cheap nasty stuff but the cabinets that have huge price tags... they're very, very well built. We got a few big rollcabs for our machinists 5-6 years back.
