just for u i rigged it up to my power supply for the rust removal tank and was plesently supprised heats up screwdivers and nails in 10 - 15 seconds to glowing red hot

Don't know why really, maybe it's just my warped sense of humour!! The possibilities are endless.

I do remember my uncle when I was young heating a 50p in the fire and leaving it on the hearth by the "visitor chair" - when his really tight mate came round (who he knew would try half inching it) he burnt his hand when he tried picking it up!! (It was the 70s - health and safety was unheard of and there wasn't much on telly...)

Generally heating things up before somebody picks them up. Potentially a little painful!

A favorite that I really like is a coin left very hot on a shop counter while the operator goes out of sight to get something. Soon find out if somebody is straightforward or not depending on the noise you do or don't hear!

Interesting if you buy the far east units regarding power supply's.
Also water cooling of coil, is another idea

i used the same power supply that i was using for the rust removal tank before i blew it up
