Hi. looking for my Mig first welder, been reading up and doing a little research, have very little funds though.
I dont have a shed or workshop so would be outside work all the time. Bits of work on my camper but want to learn how to do other things. Been told to avoid owt under 140amp.
Just wondered if anyone has upgraded but has a nice decent one going cheapish and same with bits etc. thanks
thanks. was going to ask what was a visor to start with.get yourself an automask and some welding gloves

ta Gaz. Be some time before i can afford to go gas... it did seem so easy with gas though. i looked on ebay and saw some small bottles, rather than big ones like yours. In a couple of weeks hopefully grab the helmet, gloves and couple of other bits.. I need to find where to get metal etc in Sheffield thats cheap. You said look on the forums but i dont A from B on what to buy or what to avoid... good or bad etc. its all totally new to me.mask as posted above
