I will check the points later just looks like one set of points. Would a faulty foot pedal cause issuesThere are a few revisions of the dynasty, the one i have here doesnt have points. I dont know would i go messing with modifying the wires around the ferrite core,miller usually get things like that right first day
New board time is it. I bet that is not cheap. I just removed the points they were spotless. Cleanned them and set the gap anyway no different though. What is the hf board the one that is hidden a bit.the noise the high frequency is making in the videos isn't right, theres probably a component on the board faulty,not the points themselves
I wouldn't reckon the footpedal is the issue either
Somebody like tecarc would be able to sort that board if you sent them it
I wouldnt be definite that its the hf board thats at fault,just a guesstimate due to the sound in the videos above.i would ring technical arc or any other repair company and discuss it with them.it would be best to just send them the whole machine
Have you tried without the foot pedal to see if it’s any better
