I’ve just been watching the channel 4 news and hikvision cctv is state own by the Chinese government. They are technology to spy on you!

The USA have already banned use of hikvision cctv and facial recognition technology and there are calls for company to be banned here in the uk to.

Much like huawei 5g network being banned in every democratic land.

Scary stuff.

then again there the ones that think digital and your data is worth selling to america

to end this subject

if our own gov was so bothered they wouldnt be outsourcing our data to foreign companys but having them here in our own country with our data protection instead of the data shield that isnt worth much or can be claimed against

the us data shield isnt worth the paper its written upon its that poor compared the eu directive

as goes for digital stop using foreign bodys use our own people and our countrys data network

as goes for the us theres plenty of dirty dealings that goes on iphones, microsoft, laptop cameras all taking and recording stuff
alexa recording and always on within your home

nope gdpr is eu

whilst america has the privacy shield which is a very very poor substitute even worse than our own data protection laws

any claims against us for selling your data you have to go to there courts and take action against them for any loses

it makes a mockery out of our data laws with ico saying it protects our data , it dosnt once it leaves uk shores as our data laws dont exist anywhere else

just to make it clear the banks went to india and so did your driving license the capital of alot of fraud from there with your phonecalls

Nothing compared to what you’ve freely given to google and every other ‘free’ app on your own.

The one thing the Chineese government are unlikely to do with your data is sell it and use it to target adverts.
