Start to finish, a batch takes me about 4.5-5 hours, but I can do other things in the meantime as most of the process is setting up the next stage, then leaving to go for an hour or so.

you can make a hob plate and use the rocket stove method really easily they also can be controlled with there heat by moving the pan across the top plate
so gives different levels of heat to cook upon
the original
one year old the others are older and have been proven to work well
dont use 1" between the top plate as theres not enough flow to the chimney thats why its smoking from the feed tube

I’ve not brewed for years but still have all the stuff stashed in the garage (somewhere). A quick question for the ‘kit’ brewers, are there and low alcohol kits available? I stopped brewing when everything seemed to get stronger and stronger.
Perhaps I should investigate getting a boiler and adjust recipes to brew to 3 percent(ish)?

Kits are as simple as anything. Its a extract in a tin. Yes more water or less sugar either would work need any help message me or chris @ https://brewathome.shop/ he's always brilliant to speak to

I've not brewed for a few years but used to use this recipie (or similar), for mead which doesn't need boiling.
Turns out OK too, and even better if you let it mature for more than a fortnight.
