Soak in warm water until soft.Any ideas on how to make quick little biodegradable pots from scrap cardboard?
I was even thinking to 3D print reusable clips, bases etc to hold the cardboard.

Mound round a pot, secure with string, let dry.
tremors and you would have already been a goner
Sheep's wool is sometimes used for this!Trying more hair and a fresh application of coffee grounds last night:
Are you supposed to spread the hair thinner?
I have a rag soaked in Chainsaw Bar Oil to wipe the garden tools with when they are clean.Dyed hair withstanding I'm trying not to use anything artificial. That extends to oil used on the gardening tools. Rather than 3 in 1, WD40 etc is vegetable oil an option? Was even thinking to spray inside my box section frames.
Trying Runner Beans for the first time this year, in the tunnel. They're climbing like mad and flowering, but no beans yet. French Beans started off behind the runners and have fewer flowers but beans are appearing.
But we're having a slug or snail problem. The climbers seem to be able to outgrow them, but dwarf beans got eaten to death.
That's a lot of beans....
I've nearly 50 green runners in plus a further 45 red tongue of fire ones just breaking the surface in little pots.
Don't you dare use R40 that would be sacrilege unless it's in the petrol mower.A relative suggested they've had excellent first years growing veg then the second year seen the plants decimated by pests. Maybe "they" are then in the soil, multiplying ready for next year?
More hair applied to the nibbled beans tonight, purple dyed hair to be exact!

Lanolin? You'd have to heat it up to coat the insides.Dyed hair withstanding I'm trying not to use anything artificial. That extends to oil used on the gardening tools. Rather than 3 in 1, WD40 etc is vegetable oil an option? Was even thinking to spray inside my box section frames.
