(I think the size was 2mx1m and some 3mx1m) They cut it with a Stanly knife, as you could not really tear it. It was used for export orders and something like that would have been ideal for my windows.
I have no idea what the material was called. I had never seen it until that time, and have never seen it since.
Anyone recognise it by the description?

same here can sleep with the light on now if its noisy outside or there doing the railway track I just put the dehumidifier on in bedroom can sleep with a constant noise but not with intermittent soundsOpen the curtains and get used the sleeping in all light conditions. I used to need total darkness, it was a royal pain in the arris if we stopped over anywhere.
These days I could sleep under a halogen lamp
