I've got a manual in electronic format which I'll print out. First thing is to do some basic tests to make sure the machine is working properly. Back home later and I'll have a good look over it and take the cooler off, make it more portable

It’s only splats on 2mm plate but the unit produces quality splats.

I would say that is understatment of the year so far!

Come and participate in one of my 4 hour tuition sessions and you’ll be splatting to that standard in an hour. Ask @hooblah
He came yesterday. Never welded with Alu before and achieved similar results straight away. Once the machine is tuned in to its sweet spots it’s not difficult laying runs down a plate. He did an amazing job and got some blinding results.

I could probably throw a board layout together and we could go into production in all seriousness, I’ve just picked up the dc version of the fuzzy, the transtig 2000 and could use a pulse remote for it. Better get my google foo on...

when looking at your welds, I think it was not a good idea to sell my Fuzzy 2000 which was very complete and near new condition....
But I know that it´s not the machine, it´s you moving the torch, and to be honest I´m not as experienced with ally to see the difference between the Fuzzy and my Tetrix or the TA Arcmaster.

Just to let you happy Fronius owners know.
There is a Fronius Castolin Pedal at the moment in german e.... (am I allowed to post this, I´m def. not the seller, and don´t know him!)

Maybe that will be not to expensive at the end.

Glad he has got it up and running and it works good... I found the user manual and pointed him at the correct pinouts on the connector, he took care of everything else.

If the pedal is at the right price kai I’d take it mate. It has got to be the tr52/RCTF. The tr2200 doesn’t work with the older machines. Pm me a price door to door to consider

It looks good but it’s been problematic
I think there is a problem with the accumulation cymbals as it’s making a right racket and pulses way worse than it should. I’m having a re think on it all to improve it better than it ever was. I’m gonna move stuff and change stuff then I’ll go over it once it’s right.

That does look nice though, much better on the bottom of yours than on my dc only machine.

Yes it uses a cymbals design accumulator. They are incredibly effective at taking pulses out of the lines. However if they are not working that pump has a mind of its own and shakes the thing to pieces. It’s surging and vibrating like mad. No good. I’m gonna change it quite a bit to suit.

A bit of a squeeze mind I’m hoping it doesn’t have to come apart any time soon.

Much better, rotary pump seems like a sensible way forward compared to a ceme pulser, provided you've got the space.

Little German purchase
When I get round to it I’m gonna swap that cable for a lump of 6 core rubber flex. Fronius make em really heavy duty which is nice in an industrial environment but for me it’s not needed and they are properly rigid stiff cables.
