Is it a DIY job to add connectors to rubber air hose?

Wrapping the hose and fitting with copper wire also works well. I have a couple of hoses that I have fixed by doing this because the ends had split over time through being flexed.

I've found 'temporary' repairs I've done over the years with this method, still going strong and long forgotten about going back to do with the right kit.

i disike any clip that has an edge or tail or somethign i can catch my mits on....

recently i've been swageing bits of copper pipe over the end, but thats only an option if there is a borrowable swager
