Yeah, that’s how my printer is setup… (i have the same model as @Parm) it does require a raspberry Pi and some computrickerry but a youtube video or two later you can get it up and running . I can print from anywhere in the world if I was so inclined

Creality Ender printers are the best in terms of they're the cheapest that'll work adequately well out the box. They're not perfect, but they're very popular with a huge user base, and lots of upgrade options.
Next step price wise would be Prusa printers, but I'm personally not convinced they're worth the 2.5-3 times the price of an Ender 3. They do however include better manufacturer support than Creality, and have quite a big user base.
Above that, you're into 4 figures for professional printers.

i was given a free one a while back. It’s quite old but it’s given me the bug to learn something new
once I’ve had some help to get everything talking to each other I’ve really enjoyed learning a new bit of software. I will never be pushing the boundaries of anything and i find it fascinating to watch the build take shape
