Whatever it is they end up building , it will sell. In the same way the Lotus Eletre sells. I almost bought one, put the £4k deposit down and everything , but the delay and the wishy washy way Lotus were operating was one of the things that put me off in the end. Couldn’t get a delivery date , and seeing the teething issues people were having didn’t help. Sat and thought about it for a while , and came to the conclusion that it was just a Chinese (Geely) car with a lotus badge on it. I know Lotus had some input into the design and the suspension but if it didn’t have the badge it would sell in the £70-80k range , not £130k.
If the Jag is UK built and is a looker then it will get the customers it needs. Combined with power in the 750-1000 bhp range it will appeal to its target audience ( I would say 35-55 age range)
