Land Rover have done a load of standard colours over the years - link using one of those will make it more saleable in the future, personally I think ex-military landys look good in "digital" camo

In all seriousness, color can be a very hard thing to pick. Sometimes I think it would be easier if there were no choices!

My friend has done his dark blue solid colour, it looks like a standard colour and black roof with black anodised chequer plate on wing tops and some other bits. He painted the panels with a cheap gravity gun before he assembled the vehicle and apart from a couple of runs (which you don't actually notice now) it's a good finish. I don't like metallic finishes on Land Rovers, just a personal thing and each to their own.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for no updates for a while. I'm just letting you all know. I have now ordered clutch and fly wheel. May order a steering box as well just need to decide where from. I'm now almost ready to start work on the engine and getting it back in I really can't wait.

We've not been unfortuantly they've hardly given him any time off. Probably be helping me for the first time to do some work when he does have a week off. See what we can get done. May be able to finish the major bodywork as well. Need to complete rear bulkhead. That's the biggest job so far on the bodywork at least.

I got my steering refurbed by these people. http://www.4x4gearboxes.co.uk/ and after 4 years so far so good.
You send them the old one you get a recon one back.
