Not much to add: good advice from @willie.macleod
I used a Britpart swivel kit on my 52 plate Defender, I may have been overcautious but i bought OEM seals and branded bearings to replace the ones in the kit. My nearside went about 5 years ago and I just bought the kit for both sides, the offside is still on my spares shelf, cost quite lot less then.
I also swapped to the older style wheel bearing locknuts with tab washers, remember to ditch the spacer tubes if you do, see https://forums.lr4x4.com/topic/101949-wheel-bearing-lock-nut-types/ for background and if bearings need replaced buy Timken.
A Bilstein steering damper is likely an upgrade - only replace if no longer damping.
I have a Richards chassis happy with it. Just be prepared that you may have to do bulkhead repairs when you get the chassis off, I got mine galvanised when the chassis was done.
