Somehow missed this thread! Some good work going on here. Landies can be a thankless task, I often wish I hadn’t started my Cummins build but as she nears completion I get slightly happier.

The drop arm I ended up using a 2 leg hgv hub puller, an enormous amount of BFH and a breaker bar to tighten it up. When it went, it went like a gunshot and smacked me firmly in the shin as you now know northwest, let me know should you need any tin work doing. If you can draw it on cad we have a cnc plasma and a big old pressbrake

I by the time I am past the bulkhead welding I will be in a better place to get some quick wins in...

But there's still a full re-wire to complete before it runs again.

How long now? I'm at 1 year last week but it's only been 2-3 months of actually concerted work.

Lost a lot of potential working time being out of the country.

Yeah, I have zero regrets about torching this one off.

I will have to replace the ball joints on the other end of the linkage and see if I can find an appropriate anti-seize before it's reassembled though, just in case.

I will bear that in mind, hopefully the remaining fixes are small enough I can avoid any complex sheet metal work for now.

I’m 6 years in so far! However everything has been built out of the bin and a whole hell of a lot cheaper than my mates have managed
