Have a look at these !I restarted my delayed bathroom project yesterday to find that I am short of at least 20 tiles. I wonder if there is any chance that someone here has a few lying about, surplus? I have been in touch with B&Q who apparently have destroyed all their old stock.

I can see what you are saying and am inclined to agree. I am not keen on having to remove all those tiles though!if me id take all tile round the window area off and do with contrasting tiles
but not the ones facing the sink that way your making the bath stand out
Or have a "cool wall" as in top gear and just put up pictures of nice cars to cover the tile free area?id do as your thinking feature wall realy only way to go
Absolutely! Every time you will walk into the room it will always annoy one of you. Trouble is one man's clever and original design is another's bodge.Rip them all out and start again - it'll be the only way to ensure future peace, even though 'er indoors has delegated the final choice/decision to you...... .

I had a contractor tiling a bathroom who noticed that one box were slightly darker than the rest . Had a brilliant idea to incorporate them where the shadow of the shower curtain rail ran. Typical the first neighbour to inspect the bathroom noticed . Great effort no prize.I saved a guy from wife damage a while back, he was short 15 tiles, i came up with the idea of not tiling behind the radiator and then making a nice rad cover, she loved it so much that every room is getting a cover now
