You are seriously arguing that sending more firefighters to die is a good thing? Have a word.Obviously it depends on how far established the fire was. I suspect it was reported very promptly.
My concern is not with the individual firemen - it's the fact that modern health and safety protocols/laws are endangering the public by stopping the firebrigades doing what they used to do. And yes we are also losing buildings due to this. It is easy to say buildings don't matter but they often do.
Why do they lose so many more fire fighters in the USA and other countries? Are they all rubbish or badly equipped? I think not.
There have been too many cases of the public dying because the fire brigade were afraid to respond.
