Repaired the inner panel behind the passenger side. The hole had been cut for speakers which took strength out of the door post. You could flex it.
This and the window repair are upholstered. When things are put back

I have started using weld through primer before I dress the welds. It shows up every gap, trough and pinhole
I won't lie since doing this I have looked at a few welds and thought I need to do better.its making jobs take longer but slowly the end result is getting there.

My kids grew up with car repair panel shaped holes in their cereal boxes.
I think making templates and practicing with cardboard is proving key to learning for me.

I find shreddies are structurally stronger. Wheetos boxes make me hungry

Time to make some more progress on the car. A quick mock up to make sure it will go back together.
Doors are opening and closing nicely now and clearing the rebate on the front wing. Bonnet and wing lines not looking too bad. Onwards.....
