But that's not really tying in with the reputable brand/source though is it.
I'm not saying they will be doing a runner with your money but if you have to return it I believe it's got to be shipped out of the UK, it's nothing like buying from Rtech.
Yeah but UNDER HALF the price of equivalent R tech. Also no interest free payment SCAM !

I have only recently started going to HIS (year or so) as Steve is fairly new there, he was at White and Milne before that and before that he was at Riverside Engineering.
I always ask for Steve, in fact when I go in they shout for him without me having to ask
One time I went and Steve was off but I got the big guy with the beard (don't know his name) and he did a good enough price on what I was getting, but he is the only other one I have dealt with.
They have a few different brands there but they do have an account with most and Parweld is one.
I was thinking about getting either a Thermal Arc or a Jassic but Tom Orrow on here said to look at the Parweld so I did and it was the best deal.

That's a bold statement, why is it a scam?
It is a scam on those who pay the full asking price They are paying a huge mark up to cover what could be called the interest. Who is their credit broker ? Do they even have a credit broker ? A mates brother in law had a similar scam going when he did double glazing He got prosecuted for it. He was taking a large deposit That paid the job. and the repayments and so called interest were the profit. He did not have a credit broker either.

That's walking along the edge of the huge Rtech debate. I'm not saying they or Stalhwerk are good or bad buys, but it is a fact that the cheaper supplier does not have the same method of sorting out repairs - you contact Rtech and they arrange a courier to collect next day and bring you a replacement or your repaired unit in great time, about a week I think. Stahlwerk can't do that.
So to get an AC TIG with good support that'll leave you with minimal downtime you are looking at nearly £1000 with the VAT.

What RTECH are doing is perfectly legal, I would think twice before making defamatory remarks on a public forum.

You have to be careful what you say on here about companies. I know the staff of Rtech watch the Forum to see what's going on, they told me so when I went in there. I've only been in there a few times for odd bits & pieces, but speak as I find, I couldn't have found them more helpful.
Incidentally if I was in business & the choice was an imported machine where back up could be iffy, or one that got on-site warranty for 2 years, but was dearer, the cheaper one wouldn't get a look in.
