MOT Sill Repair, help needed (with pics)

You wanna do what I did. Which was do such a neat repair/re paint, that nobody could tell it was done in the first place Had to stitch weld it, as metal was so thin. I blended the paint into the inside door angle.

Bit of dirt on it and its "disguised" as not even newly repaired. Or at least that's the plan. Its MOT is this week. Will let you know the outcome

Er I don't think so. unless my fiesta suddenly lost a few doors and grew them back overnight. Here is the car before the sills were repaired.

and after.. still 5 doors (with newly colour coded wing mirrors)

As for the too much spray to look old that was there before, from a previous sill repair by previous owner. Probably caked in dirt by now anyway. I gave the underside a vigorous power spraying when I first got it, so I could see all and any damage spots. The only bit I hold my hand up to is the bit on the rubber hose, where the tape came loose and sagged down, when I sprayed the top coat, and that has been removed. I'd only have touched some surface and knackered it if I tried to put it back up, so I left it to get sprayed radiant red like the rest of the car.

Oh you mean the date on the pic ? Take no notice of that. My phone / camera locks up so many times, I usually just tug the battery out in frustration, thus losing the date, time etc. Often not resetting the date or leaving it at whatever random date and time it is when I switch it back.
