ahh well worth a try , i would ring abac and tell them your problem im sure they wil tell you the value or sell you a capacitorNothing on the motor.
Just a "normal" looking motor with a plastic box on top. It's got some sort of cut out switch with a push button and space for the cap

ABAC are in Bicester, about 20 miles from where I live, ive dealt with them before to get spares. Lets See what they say on Monday.
lets hope one comes up with what you want other wise off to a motor rewind shop with motor and ask themThanks for your help anyway. Ive also sent an email to Facon

yeah ive enquired at places for a cap for a generator 16 quid, ebay 3 quidI'm sure ABAC will have the correct part, but at a significant cost !!
No aluminium tag on the side of the motor.
ABAC, because oem.
Best you get a spare too
I meant get two from ABAC...
Just goes to show that it pays to shop around!!!£25 from the manufacturer, your lucky. I wanted a start capacitor for a McCulloch shredder & they wanted £90 for one, went to the rewind place & it was a fiver. i had just bought the shredder second hand & it packed up the first time I used it. I did wonder if the previous owner knew something as the service number in the instructions was underlined.

Also the parts man wasn't very switched on this morning (bit like me) as he didn't hesitate to give me all the tech info before I asked for the price
Could be there's a fault that caused the cap to blow in the first place. If it's humming when you turn it on try spinning the motor by hand then hit the power whilst it's turning. If it picks up speed is the start cap or start circuit that's at fault.
