So the biggest Parkinson bench vice weighs half as much as the moving jaw on mine
I’ll concede the biggest record , the 518-1/2 weighs nearly as much as the moving jaw on mine

As regards to the vice. I had seen pictures of it as it was casted . But I was shocked by the size and weight of it when seeing it in the flesh.It's a monster. It took by myself and clive to get the sliding jaw in the van.

Bench vices, yours is likely the largest. They weren't the only vices they made, however.

I'm not detracting from your achievement with that vice, Clive. It is indeed a thing of, (large), beauty. Well done on turning that into a reality. Was merely pointing out a simple fact.
