He does have a wheeled gantry crane but he'd have to drive the boat out from under it first , forget the big engine hoist that would b even more work.
Just akin to a saying I use for know all type people, i usually quote,”if I had an elephant he/she would have a box to put it in “I have a table perfect for it
About 14 years ago I made a home made vice from scrap steel I had lying around and the offset jaws were 200mm wide and opened up 320mm and that came to 70kg. at that time I could mange to lift it by myself, nowadays I have to separate it and move it in the 2 pieces. I previously made a smaller vice and that came to about 54kg. There were a few thing I didn't like about it and I didn't really need to build another one that big but it has come in handy many times, and as it was just built from scrap it just worked out that big. I have used it for crushing pipe, bending (hammering) plate, putting bearings in place, holding large object in it, etc etc. The smaller one was mounted to a 3m x 1.2m x25mm welding table but as I was moving a further 300km north I decided to sell the smaller vice with the table for $1300 as it would too much of a hassle, not to mention the cost involved to move it to a storage shed up there and then again to our house once it was built. The table alone weighed in about 1200kg.
As I am well and truly retired and don't do too much welding anymore I will be putting this vice onto a smaller welding bench. I have finished building my 8mx8mx4m shed so just have to move all the stuff in there. Added advantage of a big vice especially this one being welded out of plate steel, I can bang the crap out things in it and not worry about it cracking. Pressbrake1's larger vice will outlive him also no matter he does to it, it looks like a nice solid vice.

Press brake doesn’t even have a vice bolted to a bench, never had the use
I went halves with my father on a big record 35 years ago , still under the bench.
This is because
Most of what I make wouldn’t fit
If I do need to hold something for second op I use a big 3 jaw chuck ,machine vice or magnet chuck bolted to machine bed so I can clamp nicely
