Yes there are people who have made them from reciprocating saws too, plenty on youtube. Do not know how well they work though.

Also saw that the worlds only lineal scraper Richard King wanted the thread locked as he couldn’t accept the op being a scraper and a powered scraper other than a biax existing.

The new steady turned up today. Holly faff.
She a big lump for sure. But will be bang on for what I need. Got it as far as the back garden. Getting it in to the workshop and on the bench will be a different ball game...what a monster !!!!!
