Jumped off a ladder this afternoon onto a bit of wood with the pointy ends of nails sticking out. The nail didn't go all the way through my foot but it went in a fair way and the foot is now quite inconvenient.
Not as nasty as others but daft not to have moved the wood further from the work space or perhaps turned it the other way up. Especially as I had prodded the nails earlier.
Few years ago I was having a BBQ for 20 or so and some were late/lost. So went off to try and find them while telling a guy who worked for me to get the barbie going with some off cuts from around the back of the house.
Short story is he left some bits with nails up near the BBQ and I trod on one. The rusty nails actually came out the top of my foot. I went in next day for a tet shot and got some choice remarks from the medic. Remarkably it gave no trouble at all, no infection or real pain and didn't have to favour it at all.
