We are talking about 2 razor blades here? Of no use what so ever.
I can understand the annoyance of not been asked. But honestly bits of scrap
I'd forgotten all about the word for today . Good resurrection thoughPilfering.
Word of the day.
I was at the NEC with Xtreme Plasma & R-Tech Welding.
I had welded some stanley blades together just to use as a talking point.
They were displayed on the R_Tech stand .
One lad in particular showed great interest , I gave him one to take home .
I was editing video today , could not believe my eyes .
A lad removed the clamps from a weld fixture and nicked one og my welded blades .
I did 12 gave one away at the end of the show there was 8 left .
Very disappointing .
filching
its shrinkageI think most/all retail businesses account for a percentage of goods being lost/stolen/damaged. They call it leakage or spillage or something?
Daylight shrubbery. The old forestry company I worked for used to do stands at game fairs. Our stand was decorated with shrubs and small trees in pots. Every year we had shrubs and trees stolen.
Yes it was a good show . I was there as a guest of R-Tech / Xtreme Plasma.Overall was it a good show though John , I wanted to go but alas ....................

Eldest son's CCTV caught an archetypical little old lady digging up newly planted shrubs from his garden.
Made a change from the local drug dealer setting up his usual stand.
The odd occasion I’ve had skips out front I’ve always kept an eye out for pilfering. Even though it’s rubbish I’d rather not have people clambering all over it, but every time one of ‘those’ pickups has come by the guy has always knocked the door to ask if they can have a look for anything they can use. I’ve told them to take what they like as long as they don’t leave a mess outside the skip.About ten years ago, my colleague and myself were going to deliver some furniture from Kent, to somewhere near Coventry. On the way, we dropped something off at Bromley (posh area). On the way back out to the M25, wed drove past a skip full of stuff sitting by the kerb. On the top of the pile, there was a couple of nearly new scaffold boards.
I said surely they are not chucking them out. So we stopped. there was no one about, and it was outside a big house that looked like it was being converted toflatsexecutive apartments. So we loaded them into the van, and went off to Coventry. After an hour or so, my mate said "I bet they were his ramps for a wheelbarrow". Didn't even occur to me (or him) at the time.
So on the way back, thought it would be best to return them, especially as they may have been CCTV. When we got there, the skip had gone !
Off at a bit of a tangent; last week our driveway alarm went off at 2330 hrs but by the time I managed to check the CCTV I just make out someone walking away along the pavement.Eldest son's CCTV caught an archetypical little old lady digging up newly planted shrubs from his garden.

I reviewed the CCTV the next morning and to my surprise I had recorded a chap taking a dump in my raised border.
It’s a strange world and just as you think that you’ve seen it all, someone comes along on a Saturday night and totally raises the bar for weird.
