I'm in the process of designing up and then installing a new copper compressedair line at the workshop. I've done plenty of reading and watching youtube and I've pretty much worked out what I think should give me nice clean air. Next year when funds permit I'll add an extra larger compressor but at this stage it's just my 14.5cfm 50l compressor. I'm going to make up a nice simple water cooler out of PVC pipe to cool the air coming from compressor, along the lines of this principal:
I'll have drain legs in the system, a filter regulator, coalescing filter and Devilbiss whirlwind filter at the gun (if not too restrictive). Anyway my question is would it be advantageous to add a 50l tank just at the end of the system to filter out any moisture left in the line and to add another 50l capacity. I do use air tools but the reason for the system upgrade is to do more spray painting. Anyone know where to buy a cheap air tank/receiver?
