Looks amazing. What pressure are those LPG bottles rated at?

^^ I had a butane bottle that said "TP 30bar" on it, assume that means "Test Pressure". 30 bar = approx 420 psi

See the bottom flexible hose into the bottle, fills there and exits the top. Idea is water will drop out rather than travel out the top.

Pressure is stamped on the bottle.

Why is the inlet connected to the output? I can see they are isolated by valves but why would you ever want to connect them?

It's a big tank so takes time to fill, if there is no need to fill the tank then I bypass it.

See post 34, have two compressors linked up. Yeah all the system is hooked up and working,

The inlet to the big tank comes from the other side of the wall, you can see the tee in the vertical section above left of the light switch.

That's one of those jobs where the idea sounds easy/simple but I'm sure there was quite a bit time/money/head scratching involved.

It's inline; compressor to tank or bypass, then goes through the dryer system on the wall to drop out more water, then along the length of the workshop to the outlet which has two filter system and a drop leg to drain any last water but have never had water at the filters or final drain.

What do you use your system for? I use mine from a wee air nozzle for blowing things down or cooling when welding on cars, to air tools to spray painting. With the wee air nozzle I'll just have one compressor on and bypass the big tank, spray painting I'll have both compressors on and use the big tank. Having a big capacity works the two 14.5cfm compressors hard when they need to fill the system. I'd like a third compressor added for spray painting and hungry air tools.

Mostly air tools but yeah, lots of general blowing! Mines a fairly chunky 150litre, single stage compressor. I fitted one long drop from 1 inch black iron pipe on the inlet to the system (directly from the tank) but hardly find any water. Plenty of water in the compressor tank

I have a HUGE secondary receiver from a large compressor but I don't really think I need it. My system already drains itself over a couple of days. Need to fix the leaks I guess.

Yeah I wouldn't bother with another big tank for air tools, once you loose pressure the compressor will be working over time trying to fill the system and supply air for the tools. For me I'd prefer 3 or 4 25l 14cfm compressors and then have a big inline tank when needed.
