New to painting

I guess i could give a try at heating the paint, im certanly not gonna remove anything cause i've messed around with it long enough, i just want to get a decent job done and start putting the rest of the car together.
It says automotive enamel on the tin but of course its cheaper then 2K paints. Viscosity cup sounds interesting but i've never seen it being sold here, how much do they cost?
So there is no real viscosity test i can do without any special equipment? Just thin it until its like thick-ish milk?

We used to use years ago for painting commercials and we used to warm it up, It was probably 30 years ago now and there are so many better products available these days.
Cheap is good but good is not always cheap !!!

a viscosity cup is just a cup with a hole in the bottom , you could make your own to compare each batch so theyre the same

you just put xx amount of paint in the cup with your finger over the hole then time how long for it to empty

should be able to get one of ebay if the paint manf has a viscosity for it

Sprayed it last weekend, lended a Sata gun so it was better to spray, although i got many runs, there were no dry/matt spots.

I blame the runs on the fact that the room was full of paint mist so i couldn't see anything. Still thinking of what will i do with them....if i'd wait a few months then polishing would be an option but not sure yet.

It's a Lada, that's a factory finish It's all one colour now anyway, get the de-nibber (google run razor) out if it bothers you that much or pretend it's a rally car and put some stickers over the runs.

synthetic doesnt polish up to well after it has been flatted you would have been better off using a better paint from scratch.
synthitic also tends to flow longer then other paints after you have applied it which will also have contributed to your runs 1 minute its fine then 3 or 4 minutes later your runs have appeared

Yeah now i now know that i would have been better off with something else but whats done is done. And you are right about the running, at first it was fine but a few minutes later runs appeared.
