Congrats, Parm Looks like an awesome bit of kit and you have the screwcutting kit, which I missed on mine.

You're about to discover, I suspect, that this lathing thing that doubleboost makes look so easy is actually pretty hard!

Realy this is just a big hoax, with my love of all things food n cooking combined with a vague interest in engineering, what I'm reall planning is a large potato peeling machine that will double up as a food processor and sausage stuffer. If I knew anything about electronics it mght even have a DRO to accurately control the thickness of the peelings. Can't let @doubleboost have all the glory

If you want it for peeling you need a surface scanning cnc system. Make it read the surface and give you a consistent peel thickness to minimise waste.

I mean, nobody wants a round potato.
