There are better Beatles tribute bands at the local boozer 
High Flying Turds are very formulaic too.
I don't see many live bands at big venues now, too much of a PITA to get there and get in to be ripped off for beer and tickets. Same with festivals, the last one I went too was Blue Dot at Jodrell Bank in Cheshire, mainly because the kids wanted to go.
I am going to see Ezra Collective at the O2 in Manchester in November, it's next to Victoria station so a doddle to get there and back.
I'm fortunate to live near the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge, great bands close up with low ticket prices and good beer without idiots talking through the performance and the performers aren't just a dot on the stage.

Infamous was probably the correct word.
So I'm told they are going to do 17 shows on the tour - can we start a sweepstake for how many they will actually do before one of them has a meltdown, throws his toys out of the pram and takes his ball home.......
I reckon 3 at most with the probability that they will cancel the whole tour.

Been to a serious amount of live gigs over the years, Tina Turner, Moody Blues, Level 42, George Benson, Queen, Status Quo, Big Country, Teena Marie, Natalie Cole, so many I can’t remember them all.
Gigs I never want to go to though include Oasis, every teeny bopper “manufactured pop band since the 90’s, Rick Astley, Timmy Mallet, the trashy stuff. It holds no appeal whatsoever.
Mind you, I did used to go and see the Ministry of Sound quite a bit, especially in Ibiza. Seeing the likes of Dave Pearce keeping a crowd alive is something else. Boy George was also very good, as was Armen Van Helden. And I listen to Armin Van Burren a lot on his Spotify channel.
And for the real left-field entry, I really enjoyed the last night of the proms live.

the irony is that if no-one like Oasis in the past, we would never have heard of them, so they may not be the taste of many people but quite a few like them, back in the 1990's it was rumoured that 4% of the uk population applied for the 250,000 tickets at Knebworth....

yea but at we can enjoy them for the few hours every year we use them and get enjoyment meny years overOnly like people paying loads of money for welders, machine tools, tooling, etc they rarely use, can barely remember how to use when they do . . .

I’m going to see them again in December. Two of them are in their mid 80s now.
