People have different tastes - I'm sure the sub-set of Oasis fans crosses with the owners of unused machine tools to a degree, but if you have the money, you like/want something, so far, you are mostly free to do so even if others find your choice incomprehensible.

Oh no. Not all. Fleetwood Mac were brilliant live. Eagles too, Dixie Chicks, Paul Simon, Eagles, Clapton, Dolly Parton is excellent. Texas were great too.

Not sure I care, or beleive the comments. They were both brilliant. Seen them both twice. Dolly defo wasn't miming unless her whole script was recorded too. Everyone on stage at the two Eagles concerts were singing too.

Severe unibrow issues here but they clearly are the "best band on the planet" I guess apart from the actual best bands that is

Been to a serious amount of live gigs over the years, Tina Turner, Moody Blues, Level 42, George Benson, Queen, Status Quo, Big Country, Teena Marie, Natalie Cole, so many I can’t remember them all.

Gigs I never want to go to though include Oasis, every teeny bopper “manufactured pop band since the 90’s, Rick Astley, Timmy Mallet, the trashy stuff. It holds no appeal whatsoever.

Mind you, I did used to go and see the Ministry of Sound quite a bit, especially in Ibiza. Seeing the likes of Dave Pearce keeping a crowd alive is something else. Boy George was also very good, as was Armen Van Helden. And I listen to Armin Van Burren a lot on his Spotify channel.

And for the real left-field entry, I really enjoyed the last night of the proms live.

Saw big country twice in Manchester student Union, absolutely brilliant, and hellishly loud. They invited the crowd to join them for a curry on the curry mile after the show

So I'm told they are going to do 17 shows on the tour - can we start a sweepstake for how many they will actually do before one of them has a meltdown, throws his toys out of the pram and takes his ball home.......
I reckon 3 at most with the probability that they will cancel the whole tour.
