Well we had a few of em actually, they all went wrong eventually. The last one started running funny occasionally so we put it in the sale for £20.but would you realy want to if u get a good one cheap . i could have got a beauty for 50 quid at the autojumble not a scratch on it .just couldnt be a..rsed to carry it to my van and i already have one
I'd rather have a Chinese inverter... And I don't like them either cos I'm a snob
Actually it was the Chinese jasic inverter that really did it for the pickhill for us... Why bother with a huge lump of a welder that needs 16 amps minimum, when you could have a lunchbox that runs far more smoothly and easily?
Anyway sorry for off topic.. Yeah they're good machines when when working, far better than an air-cooled buzz box.
