Yep, do base olive green...that's colour for DVLA.

The easiest way might be to paint the van in a base colour (olive drab in your case) then get some self adhesive vinyl camouflage shapes in the other colours.

Or if you want it to be all paint I would consider using self adhesive stencils...your first example looks freehand and a bit ropey really.

Yep seen 1000's of designs, on google some quite good,others just mad
@barking mat I did my bit for queen and country some 35yrs ago so i'd like to stick with the british way
Being an ex tanky i did think a about doing my bit about all those lost in WW1 and copying something like these

on a ford prob better to do the last colour you only have to paint the 2 greens the brown will be added very soon by the rust that happens

Decent vinyl should be fine over a roller finish with a bit of post heat to set it.

It's been about 8 years since I did graphics but I imagine adhesives and vinyl will be even better now.

Might not sound daft but visibility on the road is a big thing when it comes to accident stats.

Camo does what it does - I had a 90 in matt green and I had to check I wasn’t Invisible to other road users sometimes.

I’d go digital camo. Paint it matt green, cut a load of matt black film squares and make the Pattern up as you go.

DVLA have added "multi" as a valid colour option after the harliquin polo came out.
I had to put my bolf estate it because it was,
Green car, blue panels, wrapped Matt yellow but with a digital printed jelly bean roof.
Drove it for 2 years with no issues of colour confusion.

the cop asked "err what colour is it?" in sodium lights he didnt have a clue.
