I recently bought a used air filter assembly, it was sent in a red Milwaukee 9 inch angle grinder box, complete with picture. Luckily we are rural, as it was left on top of the post box on the drive. I can't imagine it would be there if we lived in town. I did mention this to the sender, who admitted it was a silly thing to do, but he only thought of this after it had been sent.
I often find boxes left randomly on the drive, and Fedex are the worst for this.
Another one last week. I ordered a couple of cylinder head gaskets, that duly arrived via Yodel, but in order to to get them in the letterbox, despite being packed in stout cardboard, folded them in half lengthwise, so they are useless, and when the seller tried to claim, he was told that they were "prohibited items" and refused.
I must say though, that our regular Evri driver, Mishka, is Polish, and is great. Always puts things out of sight and under cover when no one is here, and leaves a note. As are out RM and Parcelforce guys
