Masks stop the spread from coughing and sneezing if you've already got something.

Goto the Doctors surgery, because you are unwell, first thing you have to do is confirm your appointment using a touch screen. How many people are touching that screen every day? Seems like an ideal way to spread germs to me.
Wonder how many of the panic buying mask wearers , are they same ones that never cover their mouths when they cough, spreading their germ everywhere?

Man so true...the infectious media hype has even leaked into the weather reporting these days..somehow we have managed to ignore the old established Beaufort scale for stormy weather and turned it into a role call in a classroom with all the stupid human names and there beginning to almost name a 15 min rain shower as a storm now..My job depends on accurate weather forecasting and i can not get it off the main TV channels anymore as they are just far too inaccurate

The inaccuracy of the bbc weather forecasts annoy me deeply. One forecast springs to mind, where forecast said “temp. -1C, feels like -5C”. It felt like -5C, because it WAS -5C! It did that for a whole week, a full 4-5 degrees out every time.

Just had a look on eblag & there are scores of people selling cheap masks for £1.99, massive mark up.

I have a crate of masks at school, have to dispose of them as they are not ffp3, If i stood outside the railway station just before the rush hour i reckon they would fly off the shelves at a fiver a pop!

The best way I've found is to pinch the mask before you put it on, hold it on your face and then pull straps over your head.

The people I'm talking about are the ones that don't even try.

Of course they work but not 100%. Their main job is to stop the spread of droplets from the wearer. That is why surgeons use them. To stop infecting others.
